About Bridging Gaps

Bridging Gaps Health initiative, founded by Dr. Chinweoke (Favour) Ihekoronye, is a nongovernmental and non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

Since its establishment in 2019, the organization has actively reached out to various communities, providing palliatives to rural areas and conducting successful annual medical outreach programs.

Bridging Gaps advocates for equal access to quality healthcare services, opportunities, and essential resources for all, aiming to empower individuals, communities, and marginalized groups to contribute to a better society.

To create a healthier, empowered, and inclusive society where all access to comprehensive healthcare, mental health support, and transformative education is available, creating opportunities for individuals to thrive and reach their full potential.

Our mission is to improve lives by providing vital medical outreach, compassionate mental health and addiction care, and access to quality education for young children. Our holistic approach aims to empower individuals, promote well-being, and create a more equitable and thriving community for all.

At Bridging Gaps, These seven (7) values serve as our guiding principles, shaping our decisions, actions, and interactions as we strive to positively impact the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

Our Purpose

Our organization prioritizes mental health and addiction, offering compassionate care, support, and resources. We empower individuals through counseling, therapy, rehabilitation programs, and community engagement on their path to recovery and well-being.

We believe that access to healthcare is a fundamental right. Our medical outreach initiatives aim to reach underserved populations, providing essential healthcare services, preventive care, and health education

Domestic and sexual violence is a prevalent issue that affects everyone; Women, Men, and Children. At Bridging Gaps, we aim to spread awareness and provide help and support to victims of this crime.

We believe every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background. Our NGO is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for young children, promoting inclusive learning environments, and offering mentorship programs.

Our Feed The Kids program aims to provide lunch/meals to school children every day. This ensures that kids in schools eat at least one meal a day, and parents can repurpose the lunch money for other family needs.
